We offer the full range of architectural services from concept design, through to technical design, contract administration and practical completion. We provide a consistent service whether it is a private residential, commercial or local authority development.
We have developed an established network of specialist consultants which include surveyors, agents, engineers, cost and management consultants, planning consultants, local building contractors, and suppliers.
Financial cost appraisals are carried out at all stages, either by ourselves or specialist cost consultants. Client’s budgets are important and Appleby strive to meet the budget whilst providing exciting and innovative architectural solutions. 3d visualisation and contemporary graphic techniques are used to present our design proposals to our clients.
We have a clear understanding of the planning process and work collaboratively with our clients and Local Planning Authorities, therefore maintaining a high level of success in the planning arena.
Appleby recommend an initial free consultation with existing or potential new clients prior to committing to a new project. We consider the briefing process as fundamental to the success of our practice.
We strive to establish appropriate budgeting for the Client’s requirements and advise at early stages if we feel budgets are unrealistic. We seek to manage project risks by working in accordance with the key work stages as defined by the Royal Institute of British Architects. We produce key stage project reports and appraisals prior to planning, building control, and tender submissions as a standard service.
Appleby, as a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Chartered Practice, are bound by the Codes of Conduct as defined by the RIBA and the Architects Registration Board. All appointments are in accordance with the RIBA Standard Conditions of Appointment 2012 Revision unless requested otherwise.
